Serious Discussion Which layer of defense contributes the most to your overall security?

If you had to choose one layer that contributes the most to your personal security, which would it be and why?

I'm interested to see whether opinions differ between home users, enthusiasts, and professionals. It can be a software in particular, a technique or configuration, a module of the AV/OS, a browser extension etc.

In my case it is Application Control from Kaspersky. I believe it's the most important layer of all my personal security.

1st is my DNS
2nd web protection provided by my security producy
3rd is common sense
4th my ARP provided by OSA.
