I have this problem. I had Windows activated before is SP1 installed, after i restarted my pc for completing installation i suddenly got a message that my Windows 7 is not genuine. Can anyone tell me how to fix this ? Windows 7 Ultimate x86, and you should consider that i'm not pirate. Thanks in advance.

I think this a bad Micropoo update as many users were effected by this. I would suggest a search for more info. This is not uncommon for Micropoo updates. Its a false positive.

There are only two easy ways to fix this problem if your Windows is genuine.

1. Contact your OEM vendor for support (if Windows was pre-installed when you bought your system.)
2. Contact Microsoft, if you system was upgraded or you bought Windows separately.

Go to: Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\System- there should a support phone number listed to call and online support website.

Enjoy!! :D

There is a chance that the serial number and activation code that underpin your windows installation have been blacklisted (suggesting you've got a pirate copy somewhere). The only way to sort this out is as Littlebits said, to contact Microsoft directly and if you are a genuine customer they will be more than happy to help you get this fixed.
