Actually just installing an SSD would not constitute a significant change to be an issue. Win10 will automatically activate itself.

But as you should always have a copy of your valid license key number, easiest way to get this is by using SterJo keyfinder- a portable version can be found here:

Hello,

How can I find out my windows product key since i have official operating system?

I have been told that is it true that if i buy SSD disk i cannot use the current product key from my HDD because only 1 key per disk?

The best and old software for this is ProduKey by NirSoft.

Very Easy:

  • Press Windows key + X
  • Click Command Prompt (Admin)
  • At the command prompt, type: wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey
