Greetings, wise friends, I have a doubt.
It turns out that I have an old computer case and it has the Windows XP series on the sticker.
Would that series be valid for use in W10?

I highly doubt both. Maybe he could install Puppy Linux, but not much more.

As far as I know, there is no upgrade path from Windows XP. So your serial number is worthless unless you want to run XP.

I have a old laptop with XP on it, because it can't handle anything else, the few times I used it was for testing malware lol.
I wonder what can I do with it...

You can only use Windows 7 and 8/8.1 product keys to activate Windows 10. Even Vista product keys won't work.

• Replace it if you have the money to do so
• Switch to Linux distribution for productivity (Ubuntu, Linux Mint, etc.)
• Run a Personal Cloud, File-Based Linux server (ClearOS)
• Build a media server using a Raspberry Pi
• Convert it to home security hub (CCTV using Ubuntu Server)
• Host a Linux web server on it (Turnkey Linux)
• Turn it into a gaming server (if it has a fast processor)

15 years laptop, it means super-weak hardware which couldn't even run Linux or any server properly, XP on it is already a drag... The only usage I can see make it a pi-hole machine...
