Wipr blocks ads, popups, trackers, cookie warnings, and other nasty things that make the web slow and ugly.

Wipr’s blocklist is updated twice a week automatically, and has enhanced versions for the following languages: Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Thai, and Vietnamese.

Wipr 2 is a universal app: install it on all your devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Vision Pro) with a single purchase. It’s fully accessible with VoiceOver, Voice Control, and more. Dark and Tinted icon variants are included.

Because it’s developed by a single independent developer and 100% funded by its users, Wipr only answers to you: no one can pay to have their ads unblocked, and there are no “acceptable ads”.

Wipr Extra 2.0​

Extra has learned a lot of new tricks, and I mean a lot.

For example, it can now remove page elements based on their text content, their style, or their children. Setting cookies and local storage items? Yes. Changing the page’s style? Sure. Preventing the app from running obfuscated code, or using timers? Why not. My favorite new ability is removing scripts embedded in pages before the browser even gets to parse them, like they were never there!
In layman’s terms this means fewer cookie nags, fewer broken pages, fewer sites detecting Wipr’s presence, and fewer ads – in sites like Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and many others.

Not only is it now easier for me to write rules for Extra, it can also import many rules from community lists automatically. Because of this, at the time of writing, Wipr 2 has over 100 times more Extra rules than Wipr 1, and this number is bound to grow over time.
