I am most excited about the portable version. Allows new users like myself to test how the UI, detection rate, and overall system impact is without too much downtime. If the new users like the portable version, most would feel more comfortable making the commitment to switch =).

The project is based on the .NET Framework (VB.NET) and therefore the functionality is limited when it comes to security - especially for dynamic protection mechanisms - which explains why Xvirus Personal Guard focuses more on static detection methods currently.

Initial Feedback : I love it! First Impression : Lighter and less cpu and ram consumed during active scan. WIll test it against new sample posted in HUB and PM you feedbacks. Is it possible to add an context menu to portable apps?

@Svoll You can give feedback where you prefer. About the context menu scan, it is possible, but I didn't do it to not leave traces on the machine the program is running.

Quick brainstorming: make an option in Settings (disabled by default) to add the feature, so the user can disable before removing the portable app if necessary.

Is it guarding against malicious changes to the registry, MBR, memory etc? Is it a behavior blocker?

There is no plans for it. I don't see any advantages in doing that at the near future, plus I need the win32 api for Xvirus to work. But maybe in the future who knows?
