Zen - Simple, free and efficient ad-blocker and privacy guard for Windows, macOS and Linux

I tested Zen a little, and overall I liked it. I disabled filters, kept AdGuard filters enabled, and added AdGuard annoyances and social filters. Zen worked efficiently; I didn't see ads on YouTube or any annoyances on websites. Zen has a neat interface with Home, Filter lists, My rules, and Settings.

I occasionally encountered the message "The existing connection was closed by the remote server" when trying to access certain websites; however, refreshing the pages typically resolved the issue. It consumes high memory, over 500 MB, according to the task manager.

I understand this thread is about Zen Privacy, but I need to clear up some of the above statements concerning ControlD and dnssec.

ControlD does in fact support dnssec validation and verification on all of their free dns servers.

This is from my chat with Barry (the chatbot) from today:

And here are a couple of links about their stance on dnssec and dns security:

I hope this clears up any confusion.
