New Update đꔄ Multron Win Cleaner – Free & Open Source Windows Cleaner

I detected and fixed some problems too and your problem is fixed. I apologize for the issue. I hope you haven’t lost any important files. I wasn’t aware there was an issue because I usually run my software directly and clear whatever is selected. I didn’t anticipate this problem, and I apologize. Thank you for your feedback.

Release Multron Windows Cleaner v1.20.5 Beta · winball501/MultronWcleaner If you like, you can download the fixed version of the issues from here. Thank you.

Thank you so much for keeping on top of it - i believe everything turned out alright. 🙇‍♂️

Ok my fault andi spoke too soon - issue remains i believe, i can make a video or something and attach it but basically unchecking everything and only checking what i want cleaned still cleans other things

After reviewing the program a bit, I realized that it only appeared to be cleaning, even though you had unchecked all the options in the path after scan. I also noticed some issues with DISM, which sometimes returns exit code 3010, indicating that a system restart is required. I’ve made it compatible with that, so the DISM scan no longer gets stuck, and I believe your issue should now be completely resolved. If you notice that the problem persists, I would appreciate it if you could let me know. Thank you for your feedback.

It's been a little bit. Is there any projected date when to expect another Beta Release for this one?

BTW. compared to MemReduct by Henrypp, the Memory Reducer module in the cleaner is proven dramatically well coded and is a useful addition. Wonder if there might possibly be a chance for the memory module itself to become separate/split off into it's own app.

Also how is the WinSXS section panning out so far. I would imagine the (coming soon) Malware Module likely requires dedicated effort before it's ready in Multron Windows Cleaner.

Kudos for all the effort

Currently, I am working on another project, and I will soon introduce it here in this forum. I am presenting a Windows management tool that primarily focuses on solving issues, but it doesn’t stop there—it also allows you to manage system features like Microsoft Defender, Windows Firewall, and Windows Update, giving you the ability to enable or disable them. The performance optimization part is still under development, as the program is currently in its beta phase, but it will gradually be improved until it reaches its full potential.

Soon, I will release an update that includes an improved memory cleaner, which will also be published separately as a standalone tool. I am also considering developing an application where you can download and update all our tools from a single place.

Additionally, through this project, I have further improved my skills in UI design. Multron Win Cleaner will receive a UI update along with refreshed icons.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. You can find the project here: GitHub - winball501/Multron-Win-Care: Windows Management Software, and I have uploaded a few videos in both English and Turkish on solving common issues here: Multron.

I can confidently say that, over time, everything will fall into place. :D

I don’t know exactly when the malware cleaning feature will be added, but once I bring this project to a certain level of development, I will focus on it quite a lot.

The WinSxS feature is working well for me right now, but I’m not sure if it will work well for others. :D

I ran a scan, it found over 6GB to clean, among others WinSxS folder. When i let the program clean, it only cleaned a bit less then 200MB, and WinSxS was untouched.
?
It (WinSXS) was likely locked by one or several active svchost's live processes. Until for myself anyway, those tie in's can be verified (per my own system), i haven't Abrupt Kill any of them while in Windows running. @winball501 can better explain it detail.

  • Locked File Show
    • A dedicated module to display all currently locked files during cleanup.
    • Shows:
      • Full file path
      • Locking process name
      • Locking process ID (PID)
      • Users can:
Allows the user to select one or multiple running processes that are currently preventing file deletion. The module displays which locked files each selected process is holding. Users can terminate these processes and delete the associated files. This functionality also enables identification and removal of malicious software that locks files to avoid deletion.

I wonder if it can be cleaned in safe mode.

Anyway. That fact that one has to guess/trial and error to find what hinders a cleaning is not viable.

That app is awesome. Just crazy how granular and stable it is. Initially run it on Win 11 but now it runs well on Win 10-8.1

Regarding Win 11 before i got a handle on taming it, MS was consistently maxing my CPU AND chewing up Memory.

Multron Memory Module result (set at 5 minute intervals) along with occasional manual usage easily handles when i run Chrome with 48, Yes you heard that right), 48 open windows!

Good for you but it does not change my situation. Hopefully winball has something productive to say on the matter.

Now, there may be files currently in use by another process. After the scanning and cleaning are completed, you will be able to see them. By clicking “Show locked files,” it will show you the locked and in-use files also it's shows which process is using. Additionally, it cleans the WinSxS folder using dism.exe—I added this as a shortcut. It also creates a log folder. If you can send me the log file, I can understand what the issue is. Thank you for your feedback.

Also, let me add this: the log files should be located in the same folder where the program MultronWinCleaner.exe is installed, and the runtimes folder must not be missing. If the runtimes folder is not present, the program does not work properly—just to point that out.
The names of the log files are dism_scan.log and dism_cleanup.log.

@pxxb1 This is what you wanted, right?

Sorry, I had to send it here because I couldn’t send images through direct messages.

We are currently working on an antivirus project with the Hydra Dragon platform, and we plan to turn it into a cloud-based system. At the moment, we are focusing on optimization and development. I will be handling the client-server and socket components, so it will evolve into a cloud antivirus. Once we integrate it into Multron Win Cleaner, it will run quickly. You can follow the progress here: HydraDragonPlatform

HydraDragonPlatform It is currently running locally please do not test it on your main machine, as it is very resource-intensive.

If you have any ideas or suggestions, I’m open to discussion please feel free to share your thoughts.

We will be purchasing VDS anyway and going to create sponsor button from github or somewhere to help project alive. Test results will be released soon we will compare it with other antivirus software.

I haven’t had a chance to review your X virus yet—I’ve been busy but I’ll take a look. If you’d like, you can also describe its features here. @Dani Santos

Also, my AV test tool has now been improved for behavioral analysis. It waits for the program to close, and after it closes, I added a delay before moving on to the next one. You can check the project here; I may not have updated the README.md yet:
