As Nightwalker indicated, it's not very good for sharing. Sure enough... anybody you share with, you have to give the license key to.

But, customer service told me it's easy to remove devices.

It is REALLY impressive that I could call and get a customer service rep on the phone within a minute.

Apparently, customer service is very good with AdGuard.

This is what the management console looks like --

Yeah, there is actually a burrito in the management console.

That's a good thing, right?

Even though sharing is not perfect, several quality people here have asked... so I'm going to share.

This is sorta good too.

They have an active forum.

Just perusing it quickly... there is a lot of good info there.

I'm not that into it.... so I probably won't spend much if any time there.

But it's good to know it's there if I do want to learn and tweak more...

I had to install it twice.

Cylance is really-super good for 0-days and ransomware.

But it's also kind of annoying for false positives.

Thats why I cant and wont use Cylance, for me it create more problems than it solves; Kaspersky, ESET, Norton or F-Secure are much better options for my needs.

AdGuard for Windows
AdGuard is a unique desktop program that has all the necessary features for the best web experience. The software combines the world's most advanced ad blocker for Windows, a whole privacy protection module, and a parental control tool — all working in any browser or app.
(From Ad Blocker for Windows by AdGuard: remove all ads forever )

Even though I'm a little skeptical of AdGuard, I went ahead and purchased an AdGuard Family Lifetime Pack. For $30 USD, Nine (9) lifetime licenses seems like a reasonable bet that I may get some value out of this.
Multiple people here at MT who I consider credible have expressed positive feedback for AdGuard Desktop.

I've left my AdGuard License Code on the image, as I trust each and every one of you.

Again, I'm a little skeptical of AdGuard.

I've learned to use (beyond the basic level) and like uBlock Origin and a few other things. With uBO and a few other things, I even passed the @Lenny_Linux 'Pornhub Test.'

So... looking for some help getting started with AdGuard Desktop from experienced users.

-Is there any point in using it with uBO?
-Is there any point in using it with (free) AdGuard for Chrome?
-Any tips for initial setup?
-What are the downsides to AdGuard Desktop?
-Does it block things I may desire?

Minor query

For some reason, using integration mode, the shield turns green (ie integration not active) for MalwareTips and Twitter, but stays blue (integrated) for every other site.

Does anyone know why this might be?

Were you using AdGuard extension before the Windows software? If positive, try to clean the browser cache and visit those pages again, I think it will solve the problem.

Thanks for the tip.

Clearing the cache has fixed it for Twitter and most MT pages, although not the New Posts filter. Very weird.

I observed some similar phenomenon with MT, but it didn't bother me that much, so I didn't research why.
