CL has the helpful feature of Autopilot :D Though I agree with other comments to @danb Maybe just have mini notifications have Block as the main portion of the popup with a small text link to allow in a corner. e.g.

I had to use the Comodo Installer with the certificate issue as an example :D Will have to restart to see if I can look at simple notification
Are you using Cruel CF and CL together, or just default Comodo? And do they play nicely with each other? :)

It is overkill but yes, CF and CL play well together for the most part, you'll just get a CL exploit pop-up when you try run something from the desktop in container/sandbox (see below) but otherwise run fine together, no issue :)

last time I read ALL the material on AG -- it is design NOT to ID as "good / bad" -- if anything is doing the wrong thing in the wrong place it is blocked, period. (my understanding & the less you tweak AG the better it works, default works -- which is not only my opinion, but it takes awhile to come to this realization -- or it did for me). I do like and use both apps.
Indeed, it is not made to distinguish between good and bad. It is recommended to install AG on a clean system since "AppGuard does not allow malware to do what it must without having to literally recognize the malware." If you just use the most widely used applications available, AG does not need to be adjusted.

The same is true with CL, which prevents anything it deems suspicious but also notifies the user and gives them the chance to examine what was restricted. That's what I meant, that AG can't identify the good or bad, unlike CL.

I love AppGuard, it's simple and blocks a lot. CL is very decent but I haven't used it much.

As long as AppGuard sticks to it's COVID discounts for yearly subscriptions I'll renew my license.

I wouldn't pay full price for AppGuard though, it's very exspensive compared to CL and other solutions.

Dan any Black Friday discounts for licenses? I wouldn't mind getting one to support good developers and good people.

lately or in 2024 AG support has timely responded to my one or 2 questions & they volunteered that my Solo license is good for 3 computers, I was not aware of that, now I have AG on 2 computers. So if you have 3 computers that reduces the price proportionally. My experience is you have to be careful re-moving AG and then re-adding it -- that can cause problems if you don't do it following their procedure. It's not a "casual" let's play with this kind of app imo-fwiw.

We might have a Black Friday special starting tomorrow... I have just been so busy with the code that I have not had time to post a special.

But if anyone wants a special deal on CyberLock... if you purchase any license, we will either double the number of years, or double the number of seats, which ever one works best for you. If you want to take advantage of this deal, simply purchase a license, then shoot us an email at support at cyberlock.global, and we will update your account. Thank you!

I enjoy AG as well, but I find the annual license price to be a bit high, and my kids detest the fact that AG blocks some of their games.

"PM is KEY," as we say here. Message Dan, and like me, you may wind up with a three-computer lifetime license.

Hey it's not lifetime!!!! It expires in 2099!!!! Mighty presumptuous of @danb to limit my lifespan to such a minuscule number!

Nice one :) I've got another year on my current license so I paid for a couple more years this morning :)

No. Smart Mode
@Shadowra They're all secure setups, just the level of decision done by VS/CL itself so wouldn't have seen any pop-up but auto blocking in auto-pilot and in Smart it turns itself off an on depending on whether webapps are running. Obviously, Always On is most secure once whitelist has been built.

I believe @danb has explained more than once that Autopilot doesn't provide quite the same level of protection as Always On or Smart, but you are correct as to the fewer number of prompts.
