Phishing protection is important to me!
If so, which version should I buy: Premium, Ultimate?

No its not worth. I just tested it once again and it seems it warns you about the malicious site, but wont block site anymore as it used to do ( wich is why i wont use it anymore)
Premium features are completely useless
On desktop avast free is worth it when used with minimal setup, and premium just forces you to install useless bloatware

Avast VPN is good, stable, fast?

VPN is slow and unstable for long term use

If phishing protection is your top priority, Avast is definitely a good option. I’ve used it on my Android, and it does a pretty solid job. The Premium version should cover most of your needs, but if you want extra features like VPN and more advanced privacy settings, you might want to go for the Ultimate version. That said, Bitdefender is also really good, so you can’t go wrong with either. It all comes down to which features you value the most.

Just like on PC, Avast free for Android is the best because it has the most features, while the other AVs have a lot of things locked to the paid versions.

You can check MRG-Effitas for Android Av-tests (https://www.mrg-effitas.com/). Avast did well the last few years in the tests. The only drawback I found, is that it can consume a bit more battery drain that some other products.

For pishing protection on edge install Symantec, checkpoint set the phone DNS to quad9 and check messages and links with this Scan My SMS

Avast doesn't stop pishing although it has a huge userbase

i have been using Sophos intercept X free in android

it does have great web blocking, another free is Ahnlab V3 android free that also has web blocking. i have tested both and they work but can,t say how effective web protection but i am assuming great because they use their cloud database (Sophos Protection Live) (Ahnlab ASD Cloud)

I forgot to mention that ahnlab does provide Smishing protection for free.
