Troubleshoot Boot Prob

When I press the start button on my Lenovo V570 it gets hung up on the initial page that says Lenovo in large white letters in the middle of the screen. In the lower left corner it says "Press F2 for enter setup, F12 for enter MultiBoot Menu". In the lower right corner there is a bar that gets hung up immediately at about the half way point.

I can't start the computer in SAFE mode with f8.

you can try the restore option in lenovo ( one click restore ) I guess your boot sequence got currupted!

you have to press , the special recovery key , on the keyboard , shown in this picture below ;)

I assume the computer is unable to enter the BIOS screen either?

Disconnect the battery from the laptop. Connect the AC adapter and turn on the power for the AC adapter. Disconnect ALL external devices, then switch the laptop on.

As mentioned in the opening post, system stucks at Lenovo screen.
I pressed the special recovery key.
Now at the bottom its showing please wait.....
How much time it takes?

I have couple Lenovo disc.
The disc are labelled 1,2 & 3
1. Start Recovery Disc
2. Two disc labelled 2, Apps & Drivers Recovery disc.
3. Two disc labelled 3, Operating System Recovery Disc

use the start recovery disc ;)

Removed the battery, disconnected everything.
Pressed the power button for 1 min.
Attached the power cord, started the system, same prob.

After inserting the disc & restarting the system, should I press any key?

I do not own a laptop.

But I would physically reset the bios via the pin on the motherboard (I assume it is like my desktop PC).

OR

I would hook a keyboard to your laptop (I assume you can do this like I can on the back of my PC), maybe your keyboard is not working.

Then once you get into the bios, you could flash the bios to the newest version from company website.

What Windows OS is that? If its 8/8.1 then you need to boot up Windows without any problems and use the Windows button (keyboard) + C then go to settings and go to 'update and recovery' then click advance setup so you will access safe mode or UEFI boot.

Now the problem here is that BIOS hotkey has something to do with a problem so try the suggestion of @rodneyo for flashing and see of it helps.

It happened on my old laptop before and stuck without a solution.

OS is Win 7 64.

I have never unscrewed a laptop & not familiar with the hardware parts inside.
Is it easy to flash BIOS physically? How to do it?

Actually its a cousin laptop. He said showed to 3 technician & all the 3 technicians just tried to boot it 2-3 times & nothing & said they can solve the prob.
The charge they asked were very high. And I think they were trying to con him.
All the 3 technicians charges were 12000, 13000 & 15000 INR.

So my cousin gave the laptop to me to see if I could solve the prob.
