I have some slowdown while using process lasso and same i read it on many forums so I avoid it on my machine but its nice to hear its doing well on your machine.
Sometimes one software is light on one machine but unusable on other ;)

I guess so! I'll keep it for a month and so and monitor the CPU usage and report back.

Here is my Windows Experience Index:

Of coarse I'm not a PC gamer, I just like a fast computer.

Process Lasso and cache tools like CleverCache and Cacheman actually made my performance much worse. If you already have a fast processor and plenty of RAM avoid these kind of tools.

Enjoy!!:D

It hasn't created any slowdowns on my computer and I think it does make my multi-tasking a tad bit smoother or maybe it's all psychological.

Aw, no, my laptop's a bitch when it comes to gaming. It heats up too much and BAM, switches off.

I see. In that case you could get a laptop cooling pad. :)

The one that I currently have for my laptop is the Logitech Cooling Pad N120 and it works wonders.

I am trying to decide between the Cooling Master NotePal X3 and the Cooling Master NotePal U3.

U3: http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6671
X3: http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6799

Would have to go with the X3 for sure. Looks like it does a good job plus it kinda looks cool with the lights. :)

It's your choice at the end of the day. But I kind to agree to have Avast over Microsoft Essentials.

Just my option.

I was running MSE 4.1 with Realtime turned off. Even though it used only 5MB, I didn't need it. Now I'm AV-less. Remember to custom install Avast, since v6 it contains a lot of unneeded crap. Ha.

Just installed ZoneAlarm because Windows 7's firewall was annoying me including and excluding applications to it's exclusion list. At one point uTorrent is working and next moment, it cannot connect to the internet. :\

Removed: Process Lasso.

RE: BSOD's configuration (Updated 13-10-2012)

I ended up not buying a Coolingpad because I read stuff online saying that it doesn't make too much off a difference and that I can use 2 books (Yeah, I know.) under my laptop.

How is my config looking now?
