Question Could you share the browser extensions you have for enhancing your YouTube experience?

fwiw ChatGPT 5.2 was recently somewhat emphatic about SponsorBlock extension for YouTube, but I have not tried it (yet)...
I tried it, it's great, but the problem is that it relies on user input to choose which points to jump over in the video, so it's useless for newly released videos or videos from less popular channels (no one contributes, so the video will stay the same).

I have to say I find SponsorBlock contributors are pretty quick to remove segments from videos I watch. If not I just remove the segments myself using YT ReVanced. It's really easy. Why not become a SonsorBlock contributor yourself? The more of us the better!

I forgot to mention that the experience varies depending on the geographical region and the language used. Therefore, if the user is watching videos in English from channels in the United States and Europe, he will find this extension useful.

A bit off topic but if you're watching on your television Smart Tube is great. No ads, SponsorBlock and De Arrow built in, and a really good customizable UI to remove all the junk/categories you don't want. You won't be able to install it directly onto your TV though so you'll need a streaming device.
by streaming device you mean eg AppleTV 4k box?

I wouldn't recommend the Apple box because it doesn't permit sideloading 3rd party apps. It's still possible but not straightforward. Amazon have also clamped down on this but it's still possible to buy Firesticks on older firmware ( I think the 4K stick is on offer for about £25) that can utilize the brilliant xda exploit that permits full sideloading, custom launcher etc etc

Android boxes avoid all these problems though (for now) and something like the Thomson 270 is reasonably priced and performs well.

EDIT: I'm writing from a UK perspective. As you're in the US Wallmart's ONN box range are brilliant value for money and also perform well. I think they start at about $20 for a 4K device.

I have been using SmartTube on Android TVs and YT ReVanced on Android phones; both are excellent apps and work well.
