Another supporter of the light theme hereI am a minority supporter of the light theme.
I think eye fatigue is more influenced by screen flicker than brightness.
Remember the school lessons. The teacher used the dark theme of the blackboard, and the students used the light theme on the white paper of the notebook. The history of the boundary between bright and dark themes begins there. When reading and writing letters, I think it is more natural to have black letters on a bright background. However, for those who have experience typing commands, it is understandable that the combination of black background and white letters feels natural.

How did you guess?Let's invite @venustus to the light theme group! I'm sure it will be a stormtrooper
This is one of the reasons I like the light theme. Displaying detailed kanji in dark mode makes it difficult to distinguish the characters.I use both, some dark themes make the text hard to read for me. Its blurry.
I resent that. I don't look like a vampire!I prefer light mode. Dark mode is a vampire's dream!
Vampires are so cool, with their forever youthful looks and killer fashion sense. You enjoy wearing black and drinking top-notch red wine, don't you?I resent that. I don't look like a vampire!
