The feature has been speculated to be under development for a few years, but until now, it was not available, and it is still under the chrome://flags/ under Experiments Features on all the compatible operating systems, including Windows, Linux, macOS and ChromeOS, Android, Fuchsia, Lacros

I researched dark and light modes extensively, and now I'm using light mode again. Light mode feels more natural or original. When using light mode, I'm more comfortable; with dark mode, I usually move closer to the screen. For me, I'm comfortable with the laptop's brightness at 67% in light mode during the day, and at night, I use night light at 50%.

Dark on PC, light on phone.

There are several variables in the practicality of using dark mode over light because of potentially dramatic differences in rendering and perception. Display panels vary widely in their abilities to render sharp text on a dark background, and then different fonts and font weights also perform differently.

I use light mode during the day and dark mode at night, both on my PC and phone. Combined with a night mode/blue-light filter, it's part of my effort to reduce blue light exposure and eye strain in the evening. I have a high-end 4K IPS screen, so text rendering in dark mode is actually fairly good in many situations. Other displays will still make it a bit sharper.

Light mode on phone is easier on eye than on pc; must be the type of screen on each.

I'm back to dark mode because I remembered why I switched from light to dark mode. Sometimes, a black dot moved in front of my left eye as I looked around. I searched for it and started using dark mode. I haven't seen the black dot since using dark mode.

Do you all use dark mode while keeping the brightness set to 100%?
