Have you already tried this ?

Click on "My Computer" with the right mouse button in the context menu, choose the last item "Properties" window opens, click on the "Hardware" tab and then click on "Device Manager".

In the window will display all the hardware components of the system, at the bottom there is the icon of the DVD drive, then you just click with the right mouse button on the DVD drive's name in the context menu and choose the "Uninstall" command.

Close everything and restart.

The DVD drive will be reinstalled on reboot.
