Advice Request Emsisoft use a lot of memory?

On the other hand, it's just a shame that Emsisoft only has the Bitdefender SDK. Bitdefender can detect more malware in scan than Emsisoft, even if Emsisoft's Cloud + BB are excellent.

I recall Fabian Wosar mentioned Bitdefender ain't cheap, and implement it all correct or as good as possible and manage more engines automatic comes with a higher cost.

That's what I would have thought... the other AVs running on Bitdefender are the same... (Gdata, eScan etc)

I tried BDTS yesterday, I had no network on my virtual machines... the BitDefender firewall was blocking everything....

It will probably be the case with me that in some time there will be a switch to BDTS.
But for now there is Emsisoft.

I wonder if memory usage by the program adjusts dynamically to available memory. My computer has 16gb so I don't find the usage problematic, but it would be on an old laptop with 2gb of RAM.
