This is actually quite a positive surprise. I believe no other vendor yet supports Brave protections? I remember it was a long-time request on both Eset and Kaspersky. Great news all around.

Yeah, I'm very surprised also and don't remember any other AV officially supporting Brave yet. But it makes sense to support since it's Chromium based and gaining users every month.

I remember having this exact problem all the way back at 2012~2014. I had the firewall set to interactive mode.

I opened up any game with an online feature, and it required a network connection to well, work. But, because I had already launched the game, gamer mode kicked in and disabled notifications, thus it never showed me the dialog to actually allow the game to use the network.

But at least I was safe!

There are very little difference on NOD 32 and EIS. At least on my computer.

In the Firewall settings change Filtering to Interactive instead of Automatic
