Yes, but I don't quite understand why the Home line also includes ESET Small Business Security and ESET Safe Server.

Nearly half of the new features apply to them:
New: Web Control (ESET Small Business Security)
New: Network attack protection (ESET Safe Server)

For Home products, there’s only:
New: Browser privacy & security: AI Conversation Security (available for Premium, Ultimate, Small Business Security) – implemented via a browser extension (independent of the ESET product version)
Improved:
SHA256 enabled by default – an initial scan must be run to populate the local cache
Import and export of settings split into two separate windows

Well. that update was thoroughly unpleasant!

Had to use the system backup from today to roll back. After the update and the restart of my PC I could not restore my internet connection, not even the W11 problem solver program was able to resolve the problem for me.

Thanks to using a support ticket and a very helpful employee of ESET Netherlands, I know why things went bad for me yesterday. As I found out today (thanks to the employee), while I was trying to update ESET Smart Security Premium, there was also a Windows Preview update going on. (Preview 2026-06.) This somehow interfered with the updates, and I got the problem I mentioned previously.

So today I first did the Windows update, and after restarting I did the ESET update, and all is well now.

I tried updating Eset this morning, (went to updating)it did not work, froze my wifes computer and after unplugging restarted and I went to work

ESET has been upsetting me lately. It detected my bank's security layer as potentially unwanted software and tried to quarantine it.

eset vpn update process is a different headache. I do not even have custom installation folder???

Every release I need to restart. It's normal. No restart after sig/module update.

Have they released many versions? Because during the last month, Eset asked for a system reboot three to four times

4 times? That's very unusual. What ESET are you using? I'm using home i.e internet security and I only get a restart prompt every new version.

And Eset does not play well with other VPNs (Adguard in my case). It also does not play well with Adguard.

yeah it does not bode well with malwarebytes, mullvad or proton vpn as well
