Question Good cross platform 2FA app

What is a good cross platform 2FA app with syncing functionality that I can use now that Authy is sunsetting the PC version?

I'm using an Android phone and a Windows PC.

I would rather have a standalone 2FA app/service because I already have Google and Microsoft accounts. And I don't think they provide cross platform apps.

I use Bitwarden for my passwords, so not comfortable with keeping all the eggs in the same basket...

In that case, you might want to check out LastPass Authenticator. It's a standalone 2FA app that works on both Android and Windows and offers cloud backup and multi-device sync.

Apologies for the confusion. LastPass Authenticator doesn't have a standalone PC version. However, you might want to consider Duo Mobile which offers a great cross-platform experience, including on Windows via a web interface.

Just installed it and I think this app is really useful. I'm surprised it's hardly mentioned on the forum. And it seems to be quite unpopular, NPE has no data on the reputation of this app, Eset has very little data either.

Meanwhile:
+ OpenSource clients for all operating systems
+ Backup in their cloud and easy export for yourself
+ There is a locking of access to the application by OS tools

I think this is the best replacement for Authy after they dropped the Windows client.
