Advice Request Good Linux Distro alternative for Windows 11 for old laptop

Please provide comments and solutions that are helpful to the author of this topic.
That error usually happens to clean installation. Usually during the first update. I encounter that on x64 and ARM64. Once the download and installation of the 1st update is finished,restart and it will be gone.

it is upgade not clean install

N version has not real advantage; only removes some media players and features which can be easily removed after installing the "regular" Pro version.

Not all the time; I have W 11 Ent on a 2008 PC (core 2 duo cpu) running just fine; only limited to 23H2 version, as the later versions require sse 4.2 cpu.

i know, but this the version which was already i have previously installed (Windows 10 Pro N) so it has been upgraded to Windows 11 Pro N

A few other things you could try if that doesn’t work, or to fix other bugs is to run the SFC and DISM commands. Step 5 and 6: How to repair Windows 11 without losing data or programs

Last resort would be to do another Windows in place upgrade which I think is similar to how you upgraded to windows 11 in the first place. But this has fixed some things for me where other things couldn’t: How to run In-place upgrade in Windows 11 - Microsoft Q&A

Thank i know these commands and i repaired before to solve corruption in Windows integrity
