Can you try one more thing?
  1. Block windows update from installing driver. (Windows update has ruined drivers for me so many times that I just disable it)
  2. Then download drivers manually from HP LG website for your specific device.
  3. Uninstall old drivers (don't forget to check the box that says "Attempt to remove the driver..."), then reboot.
  4. Install downloaded drivers and reboot.

There may be an optional driver update available for it.

How to Install Optional Updates on Windows 10/11?

If you need to install optional updates on your PC, you can follow these steps:

On Windows 10:

You can go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > View all optional updates, select your needed updates, and click Download and install to install them on your device.

On Windows 11:

You can go to Start > Settings > Windows Update > Advanced options > Optional updates, select your needed updates, and click Download & install to install them on your device.

My laptop is LG and the card is an Intel card so why HP? If really need to download from HP do you have the link to HP website for driver download?

I might have misunderstood because you mentioned HP in a previous post. Just try above steps and replace HP with LG 😅

Edit: I just realized how off topic we went here, maybe create a new thread and tag me 🤣

Just try the latest Intel wifi driver from their site:
Works without any issues on my LG gram with the same wifi adapter.

Why not just use Driver Booster or some similar program to do the job for you ?

Regards Eck:)

Because they cause more problems than they solve. They are not needed anymore since Win 7. Either download drivers manually (preferred on Laptops) or let Windows update handle it.

Yes in general you are right but in this specific case it would be the first thing I would do it just to get an easy fix.

I don't trust them enough to get the drivers right. And why download another software when you can download drivers either from laptop manufacturer or OEM (Intel in this case).

Because this has already been done and hasn`t worked.

I wouldn`t use them myself except when all else fails.

It's fine to use driver update tools, if used with caution. It makes it a lot easier to install driver updates, than manually downloading and installing drivers. There's generally no need to install every driver update. But they can be very useful for installing drivers for devices which have no driver, or only a generic Microsoft driver installed and updating drivers for devices which have issues.
