Hello.
First my pc.I have Gigabyte Rtx 3090 OC ( stock ) and 10850K stock ,32gb ram.

Issue is only on 1920x1080P with 165hz. On 1440P with 165mhz is fine. On 1920x1080P with 144hz is fine. On 1920x1080P with 165mhz i can see on screen small black dots flickering vertical.

If i wanna catch screen its not visible or clip. So i post screen and i added from paint. Just very small flickering black dots on vertical position. Happens only in 1080P with 165HZ. Visible on desktop too when i am very close.

somebody ( other person ) had the same issue with same monitor, link reddit:

It happens only in 1080P or below with 165hz. With 144hz 1080P is ok. 1440P 165hz its ok.
I am not happy with pc because of this. What should i do ? Ignore that or rma ? Somebody said that i must rma monitor even if doing that on non-native resolution.

PS:
When i am playing games on rtx 3090 on 1440P ( which is ok ) i am thinking about that i am not happy:(

The monitor specs show its a QHD monitor which native resolution is 2560X1440.

It is probably just a compatibility issues with the 1080P resolution.

Are you running the latest firmware from Gigabytes website?

What are the version of the Nvidia drivers you are using? There is a lot of problems with the drivers for the series 3 of Nvidia, for series 2 the most reliable for are the 3.21.
You are playing crysis, that is not a very stable game, do that happen in other games? Like cyberpunk? Or other?

Just one thing that I don't understand, you have a monitor with 2560x1440 resolution and a RTX 3090, and you play single player and at 1920X1080? I have a 2070 Max-Q and play at 3440X1440, because FPS per second his not the priority in non-competitive games. If I have your RTX i ill 2560x1440 in max settings

Yeah i understand you perfectly , i am game on 1440P. But for a moment i was testing Crysis Remaster on 1080P and discovered that small/vertical flickering dots. Then i check on desktop and they still on desktop. Only on 1080P 165hz. On 1080P 144hz ok.

i tried on the newest drivers and from january 2021
I already see you post in the Nvidia forums, no answer until now.
I believe that the problem is the drivers, but I don't know what are the most stable drivers for your card, but my advice for now its to stick with the recommended by the manufacturer for now, too many problems with the new drivers.

My advice is not losing your mind with that because it's not a problem with the card but with the drivers.
You can try to dissemble FreeSync in the monitor, and see if it helps.
FreeSync give some problems with the new drivers.

The Nvidia RTX 3090 GPU would support G-sync and that monitor is G-sync certified.
Free-sync is used mainly for AMD GPUS.
