I cannot understand why some people consider it to slowdown the computer so much. At this time I think, even Avast is worst..

A very simple test is to launch the browser and see how much time it needs to open.

Personally I think I don't like kaspersky very much as it installs deep into the system but this is another story..

All do this in a degree (drivers are installed etc), but Kaspersky is said to be a "rootkit" by many people (not a real one but you can understand the meaning I think).
