Looks like you have the 2020 version. Are you sure you're using 2021? Right click on the tray icon, click about and share a screenshot.

The "new" gui is with version 2021 MR2 "21.2.16.590" and beyond (your version is MR1 21.1).

You dont need to do anything, eventually your version will upgrade to MR2, but you can do that manually ofcourse.

Patch B:

• Adds he link to the Privacy Policy in the License Agreement window.
• Adds the feature for excluding objects from the traffic scan in the Protected Browser.
• Fixes several application issues.

To install the patch:

1. Run the database update for Kaspersky Internet Security. See Online Help for instructions.
2. Restart the computer once the updates have been installed.

The patch will be installed. To check if the patch was installed successfully, open the application window and click the Support icon in the lower-left corner. The information about the application version will be available in the window that opens. The version number will have the letter b added.

The default is "monitor selected network port only". Keep it like that. No need to change it.

Just download 21.2 online installer and install/override the current 21.1, it will keep Your current config/settings..

Mine just updated from 21.1 to 21.2. In 21.1 I could under settings>security level Maximum/Optimal/Minimum. Where did those settings go in 21.2 or did they just remove them?

The options was removed but you can easily change "File Anti-Virus", "Web Anti-Virus" and "Mail Anti-Virus" security level.

I'm assuming when I click settings>Manage Settings>Restore it should restore it to optimal settings?

Fun fact: this happened in Romania too.

About two weeks ago, they added the 21.2 version in Romanian, but they then returned the 21.1 version back. I asked them on Facebook why they did that and they specified that it was an "loading error".

Yes, that setting was removed, I have no info about its comeback... probably not but now I'm testing K2021MR3 beta (will come in early February probably) and there is no transition effect when changing windows settings, so no need any more
