Kaspersky beginning transition of U.S. users to UltraAV

Can anyone who has had this happen and runs any kind of DNS logger get me a list of domains this company uses so I can block them at my firewall and prevent any kind of surprise install? If Kaspersky is going to break it's going to break. Originally they claimed that the software would just stop getting AV signature updates and updates to components but that application control and heuristics would still function so this is an infuriating betrayal.

@Shadowra Can you test Kaspersky with a VPN USA + American license? I heard it's severely limited protection wise. It will miss things.

So far, I haven't seen any limited shields compared to my country's version.
To be watched, but I rather think that there will be a migration of the US installed base from Kaspersky to UltraAV.
NB : It uses the MaxSecure engine (thanks to Reddit)
That's interesting, as a few months ago, Max Secure stopped development of their own products and you can no longer buy them.

I like this comment that was just posted (as far as partnership). Why would Kaspersky "pawn us off" to this little-known and unvetted company, at least regarding a lack of history of AV protection videos and ratings? Are they the only ones who would take the Kaspersky users on, or was Kaspersky worried about (or logistically) transferring our licenses to someone like ESET, or to a different US company like McAfee, or Gen Digital (Norton) and wanted to use a US company just to help soothe the US consumers, in using that product?
If there were some back-room partnership (commission?) I could see that as far as from Kaspersky's end but are we going to pay the price for that (lack luster security), unless Shadowra comes up with some stellar results in his upcoming review, it could just add more fuel to the fire.

Even if UltraAV detection rate is 100% I wouldn't trust it. Same for Kaspersky. The antivirus has full system access. Antivirus must have 100% flawless reputation. Not 99.99%. 100% and nothing less even if detection rate is lower. Just one bad update and you wake up with a new ''antivirus'' or something much worse.

yeah nord group is trying this mostly bad.
like surfsharks AV is horrible and basicly Avira SDK but with not many features.

actually I lost trust in them even more with this move. they could have handled this situation much better. we use their software in many systems but ESET with their recent performance seems a much better choice, more trustworthy, and much less shady. Even Gdata is a good choice. it's so sad seeing a brand and the most balanced security software out there go down like this in the minds of people. they could do something so everyone would say ok they cared about US people and did something great. this kind of tactic is shady and does not show the other side(US government) wrong, this move makes the US ban make much more sense!!

I am always impressed by your testing of different antivirus. Now it's time for UltraAV (UtterFlopAV). I think they have designed the User Interface (UI) of the UltraAV in 1 day.
In my mind, UltraAV only wants USA data and wants to use their VPN; who knows what will happen with their data? Coming to Kaspersky, they should not have done that; instead, they should have given to reputed AV vendors.
