AdGuard? Nope. Yeah it might be due to changing security config. I never experienced any slowdowns with AdGuard and Zemana until I changed my AV to 360TS. Thank you guys for helping me out.LOL, then it's true AdGuard was the problem, at least in your case and in mine
Yea me too...at first I didn't feel that problem, but in your case probably due to changing security config too often might caused this issue
I'm not very sure though, that's why I think Mr @Littlebits doesn't change his config so often (on his avatar )
However...since most of MT's member are software tester lover..that's something we might be expected soon or later

Any advice on how to configure it to maximum settings?I'm using it & nope it don't slow down.
That's the advantage of using a non 3rd-party AV. Haha! Next time I will just use Windows built-in security. I'm kinda tired of reinstalling bunches of softwares.Perhaps, for the time being, you might choose to use just a bare bones Anti-virus like mine that is neither 3rd party nor as impressive on the surface as it truly is on the kernel level (wait for it...) Windows Defender!!! *Trumpets sounding* It's what I've used since I haven't wanted to (quote) '..install bunches of software' after refreshing although I really didn't have much to begin with.

Hahaha I'm so obsessed on stockpiling programs way back, I know it's not a good habit but I keep on doing it. lol But now I've learned my lesson. I'm now using some portable softwares, it is very easy to remove when you no longer using it.*smiling* One positive 'advantage' in facing re-installation of software is also being granted the opportunity to choose what to keep rather than stockpiling programs we no longer use but won't let go of. Browsers can be an obsession, as well as extensions. I know. Using portable versions of software apps. can be a method of tricking one's self (since they don't make it onto your system) and are for this reason easier to let go of as by nature they are akin to User Activated Control even as they feel a lot more fun!!!
Why did you unticked "Pornography" and Nudity"?
Thanks man!One thing i forget to tell u that when i run some old & new malware urls from malware domain & malware blacklist, K9 successfully blocked almost URL when i enabled " unrated " since the unrated option will flag malware urls coz they don't have any rating or can't categorize into any other category & most of malware urls are unrated so K9 will easily caught them. unchecking this option will give u less protection, also if u enabled this option it will flag any url which is not rated or which r comes from unknown source, kinda increase false positive rate. but i guess if u want to utilize full protection against malware & phishing site then tick mark it hope i explained u in details
HAHAHA!coz i'm a grown man with self control
Yeah! I'll keep my fingers crossed.Good luck with the AppGuard Giveaway...
I hope we'll win.
I also experienced that bro, though Adguard and K9 Web Protection is a good combo. The one thing i realize that when u enable "unrated" option in k9 custom settings, ur adguard will show error when u try to update. disabling this option in k9 works & now i can update adguard, damn man.
