Just FYI

I have no issue with ScriptSafe and Fanboy's Annoyance List with Youtube. In using multiple extensions one has to be careful to allow/whitelist certain items so that images/videos can be displayed/played.

Canvas Defender is good for giving a consistent fake fingerprint read out unlike others which either hide/anonymizes your fingerprint. However, the original fingerprint can still be extracted. So, for FF, the use of CanvasBlocker is the best for it gives a consistent fake read out and your original fingerprint cannot be extracted. For Chrome there's no equivalent of CanvasBlocker at the moment so any canvas anti-fingerprint extension or extension with canvas anti-fingerprinting feature will do

Hm. It was either Fanboys Annoyance List or Adguard Spyware Filters For uBlock, not ScriptSafe :giggle:

I'm not sure what my issue for scriptsafe is. I've switched to Script Defender on Opera and everything seems to be going well. Blocks iFrame, JavaScript, images, Plugins, has a whois tab, acts a bit like Scriptsafe. Having no such issues so far!

Since you are using uBO and Nano Adblocker you can add the "I don't care about cookies" filter to them reducing one extension

About your opera, you have nano adblocker + defender. You only have to enable nano defender integration list from default filters, defender is built in there. You can remove defender if you like to.

I tried opera and used its built in filters + added fanboy annoyances and thats all for needed adblocking for me

Downsides i found about opera is that you cant delete cookies when exit, thats why i didnt bother with it

Btw. scriptsafe is nice, you can have;
- random user agent
- script blocking
- fingerprint blocking

+1 for letting me know about the Defender extension. For now though I'll leave it be, knowing me I'll muck something up, plus I also using Anti AdblockKiller (AAK) filter on both uBlock and nano Adblocker.

Do not use the in built Opera blocking. I would suggest using uBlock or Nano.

With Opera deleting cookies when you exit can be done with Cookie AutoDelete, which is why I use it. I know it's Chrome Extension but you install "Chrome Extension for Opera" in Opera's store, Go to Chrome Store and then download it there. Cookie issue solved. @Moonhorse

I'd retry Opera again if you wish.

The filter lists I have are great too.

Im just using actual ublock origin nowadays, since you can have defender filter without extension
Nano Defender

I think for some people its easier just install adblocker (default filters only) + nano defender without any configuration
But using operas built in adblocking feature wont need antiadblock killer too. also saves memory from not to have use adblock extension at all

I prefer browser having 'clean everything' when i close browser + never remember history option

I wont use opera, but i like the sync between opera desktop + mobile and the video pop out is also nice

Added to Opera:
- Scriptsafe

Removed from Opera:
- Script Defender (obvious)
- Tunnelbear Blocker (too aggressive)

Edit now reinstalled ScriptSafe on Firefox, the issue was with the Random User Agent, wasn't working correctling when Chrome Win/Mac was on it.

I think its just not working right since whitelisting doesnt work at all, fingerprinting and flash disabled = still fails to connect flash

Also on tunnel blocker site it says it uses annoyance filterlists, but still manages to show those pesky ads

ublock origin/ nanoblocker + scriptsafe / no script is beast

Totally agree with you! Scriptsafe is fully working for me now so is uBlock on Firefox, works like a dream!

Reason for ice dragon? I like it over quantum, but im using quantum right now

few questions:
why canvas blocker over scriptsafes fingerprint protection
random user agent over scriptsafes random user agent

I use Canvas Blocker over Scriptsafe's & Trace Fingerprint protections because they both failed various fingerprinting tests on VMs. CanvasBlocker when tested was 100% on all testing sites. This is why I use this over the in built protection for fingerprinting.

Same again with Scriptsafe on user agent, the Real user agents can be uncovered via JavaScript. Random User-Agent blocks JavaScript methods of reading User Agents very well.

Reason for Ice Dragon atm is testing. As I have a shorter list of Extensions as well. The core looks to be set very stably. Seeing what it's like so far!

Sounds good

Well ice dragon might be best alternative for firefox, due comodo security enchanments and constant updates. Its also bit lighter.

Also superior sll certificates are nice feature.

Actually i moved to quantum because you said quantum is nice and few other comments from people...but now im feeling going back to ice dragon because it brings more features over firefox. Im gonna install ice dragon back and have deep insight to see hows performance against firefox
