for those guys who's license got revoked, was your account freshly created or did you use the code to extent the license already existing ?

For me it was an account I already had.
In my friend's, he still has it with a recent account.
But at another, friend license deleted with new account too.... It's random

F-Secure has such partnerships with Internet companies all over the world, usually the software is available as paid option for lower tier plans and free for higher plans. I am not from UK so do not know the exact terms and conditions but I can provide screenshot of the Virgin Media logo on this F-secure account promo:

Unless one actually is a 100% genuine Virgin Media user/customer, then anyone that got the previous license offer by sidestep/bypass with VPNs automatic risk getting their licenses revoked/set back to a default that in a worst case can become , zero/0.

This is not anything brand new and extra not from F-Secure, as a couple of years ago they came down hard on a license offer for their VPN Freedome. It got severely abused and misused and they started to loose money on it. I wouldn't be too surprised if it's a smilar case also this time.

Yes, This is what I am saying, F-secure has all the rights to revoke these Virgin Media UK license. The only curiosity is to see if it gets revoked for everyone or only a few, almost everyone redeemed that code here.

I'm lucky so far, I have used my older user account of F-Secure, but all license days were added with "keys" due to promotions...
We will see what happens on upcoming weeks, I will report when "license days are gone" ;)

I think this is probably the right answer. Licensing over a VPN is a type of Lifehack, and it's a little different than the intent of the company selling it.

what happened? you still have it lol? ;)

Yeah, looks like I was lucky :D "subscription is valid until 30/04/2026" at least for now... As I said earlier, this promotion-key was added to my older user account of F-Secure, may that's the reason why it's still valid in my case, but I dunno it's just my guess ;)
