When should we expect this v3 manifest crap to start? seems like they are holding it off because people are pissed about it.
The last I read from here: Chrome - Phase Out Timeline but the Edge has yet to be determinded

-------------------------------

We will begin disabling Manifest V2 extensions in pre-stable versions of Chrome (Dev, Canary, and Beta) as early as June 2024, in Chrome 127 and later. Users impacted by the rollout will see Manifest V2 extensions automatically disabled in their browser and will no longer be able to install Manifest V2 extensions from the Chrome Web Store. Also in June 2024, Manifest V2 extensions will lose their Featured badge in the Chrome Web Store if they currently have one

Microsoft is making me want to shift to another operating system really really fast. The crap that has been shoved down our throats from unwanted changes to highly obfuscated tactics involving changes to our settings with out our knowledge. Just did a clean install of windows and they changed my desktop background automatically without consent. What utter trash windows 11 has become Windows 10 was the last best operating system. I really do hope a group of people sue the pi$$ out of Microsoft they deserve it for the trash they have been shoving down users throats and the same goes for google.

God help us all when they weaponize AL as well.

Give Linux Mint a try, if all you do on Windows is browsing the internet, it will not let you down.
