I hate the progressive rollout, still waiting to be updated...
You can update manually by downloading the latest enterprise msi but I don't want to do that all the time.

Does anyone here experience a slight delay (up to 5 sec in my case) when closing Edge while the option "Cookies and other site data" under "Clear browsing data" settings is enabled? This doesn't occur on all websites. It just happens on a few websites like Reddit and Facebook.
With my new setup i do now the cleaning too and get the same problem.
I don't use nor visit Facebook but Reddit but Reddit is on my whitelist so looks like this isn't related to this two sites and is generally a problem with big site data

I had this problem when I did a clean installation of Edge. Things, however, got better later on (like a few days) and now Edge closes immediately regardless of the website (Reddit, Facebook..etc). I guess Edge on fresh installation needs some time to build up cache (or something) for websites before things get back to normal. I'd say just give it a few days and it should get better.

It’s worth noting that users did signup initially to know when Microsoft Edge will be available, but its surprising Microsoft is pushing this email without asking.
It seems that the email is sent to users who signed up for being notified, so IMO nothing strange is happening here.

Microsoft Edge now uses up to 27% less memory when browsing on Windows 10, building on heap memory improvements available to Win32 applications in the Windows 10 May 2020 update. Learn more on the Microsoft Edge blog:

Edge build-in updating isn't possible currently here, so I've decided to download manually this time because of chromium security fixes...

Still at version 83.0.478.50 (June 15). Has anyone updated to .53 yet? Usually, the browser updates pretty quickly after the announcements.
Not yet hopefully tonight.
Takes a lot more time now with progressive rollout in place...
If you don't want to wait you can get the latest version from the Edge for business page like @silversurfer mentioned.
