New Update Microsoft releases Windows 11 version 25H2

Generally speaking, it is more wise to wait few days after the release of Windows update before installing; if it offering bugs, it will be stated during this period;
I normally do, but I wasn't concerned about this update. BTW, it appears I do not have the new Start menu.

Minor issues on 25H2
Every single edition, version, and build of ANY Microsoft software from Windows to Word for consumer, enterprise, and government has minor and major issues. Go to any "known issues" webpage for ANY Microsoft product or service, and the reading is long.

25H2 Dev channel within Insiders Program has been problem free, but then again I don't do the nonsense that many users do with their software and devices. So it don't apply, and I let it fly.

So True. Not only to MS, but most if not all apps have bugs at some point during release.

I always and am still a very heavy Windows Customizer. Last try on my Windows 11 Home 24H2 borked so i restored a good Inc and set things back to right again.

My question is if 25H2 will crowd out and blow off ALL my myriad system and folder customizations presently situated solid and much more efficient and better aesthetically. If so looks like i am going to need to determine a best method for saving all the finer changes in reg files all in a single collection and reapply after IF 25H2 finally sticks.

For decades forum Eight, Ten, and Eleven provided/provides excellent reg tweaks that make using Windows so much more efficient AND time saving convenient than their always dull often kiddish basic framework that they always release.

I wouldn't even use Windows if not for the sleek customizations that are far more advanced than kinder garden Microsoft's lame kiddie looks (icons, context menu omissions) sports, (so unprofessional) AND AM strict w/ ESPECIALLY A MUCH MORE CONVENIENT AND ATTRACTIVE CONTEXT MENU than Windows would ever imagine to do.

Best that seems probable is that In Place Upgrade routine i imagine.

I had the same error with mine and ended up doing a windows repair through update but that did take 3-4 hours (see below) which worked and didn't affect anything installed etc, just took forever to download and install even on my gaming laptop. But I would suggest try the various methods first and see if they work for you first.
