Troubleshoot Minecraft game wont run has error message

minecraft wont play

Steps taken to resolve, but have been unsuccessful

I when to minecraft website to get help but could not figure out anything to fix it

I am attaching a copy of the log file from minecraft about why it wont run. Maybe this laptop is too old and it wont run on it but I am not sure. the log has the computer specs at the bottom of it...

The game was a bday present to my grandson who is 10 I was hoping it would run on this computer.

that is great information I am really excited to work at those sites with my grandson thank you so much. I also am ordered some books that teack programming to kids to get him started..

Their is also I read on amazon as recommendation with that other book a book to learn scratch. You think this would be of interest?

I personally think, if given enough dedication, any book can be interesting.
