Thunderbird Nebula 128.1.1 (esr)​

What’s Fixed​

  • Compaction of folders greater than 4GB were truncated to 4GB on 32-bit installations of Thunderbird 128esr
  • Some UTF-8 characters were corrupted when using OpenPGP signing with OpenPGP encryption
  • Visual and UX improvements

Known Issues​

Unresolved: "latest" download bouncer aliases are not available for 128.1.1esr at this time

What’s Fixed​

  • Performance could be degraded when sorting with Quick Filter or Grouped By Sort
  • "Mark All Read" on Quick Filter results marked all emails in folder as read
  • "latest" download bouncer aliases were not available for 128 releases prior to 128.2.0esr
  • Security fixes

What’s Fixed​

  • Message window froze after clicking 'mailto:' link containing child elements
  • "Grouped By Sort" state was not preserved for unified and virtual folders
  • Repairing local folders caused messages in folder to temporarily disappear
  • Repairing an IMAP folder resulted in incorrect total and unread message counts
  • Quick Filter reset sort type in threaded views sorted by "Order Received" ascending
  • Display names for SMTP servers could be incorrectly formatted as a date
  • Importing profiles from SeaMonkey did not work in certain circumstances
  • Calendar events filter no longer allowed searching past or all events
  • Calendar updates were not added to cache when Thunderbird was offline
  • Visual and UX improvements

  • Opening an EML file with a 'mailto:' link did not work
  • Collapsed POP3 account folder was expanded after emptying trash on exit
  • "Mark Folder Read" on a cross-folder search marked all underlying folders read
  • Unable to open/view attached OpenPGP encrypted messages
  • Unable to "Decrypt and Open" an attached OpenPGP key file
  • Subject could disappear when replying to a message saved in an EML file
  • OAuth2 authentication method was not available when adding SMTP server
  • Unable to subscribe to .ics calendars in some situations
