It's fine...but Slimboat and Slimbrowser released by them earlier were a lot better .

i wish firefox would release a 64Bit version. i have alrdy 64bit chrome installed. any speed improvement using slimjet compared to chrome?

Thanks for the info, frogboy!:) Although I have not sailed in the Slim-"boat" before, my curiosity's awakened by those whom prefer it to the newer "Slimjet".o_O I wonder whether this has to do with Slimjet's U.I., performance, or both..

@Striker, Mozilla abandoned their 64 bit development which was with Nightly if I'm not mistaken.
Here are two highly secure & quick performing alternative 64 bit browsers:
  1. Cyberfox www.8pecxstudios.com
  2. Palemoon www.palemoon.org

Yeah i just noticed this new release, but i just do not see a difference with 1.2.8 for which i made a thread yesterday. Am i missing something here?

EDIT: I asked the SlimJet Team what they did for v1.2.9 and their answer ...

1.2.9 is a bug fixing release. It fixes a connection problem with legacy https server.

Downloaded the latest version of slimjet today and so far i am happy with it.It's fast,lighter from chrome on my laptop and supports add-ons of chrome.
p.s.: I downloaded chromium 64 bit and it was using many resources of my system especially it was pounding the CPU( not good):eek::confused:.
p.s.:I installed the 64 bit version of Slimjet so far everything seems good.If i continue to have problem with Pale Moon maybe Slimjet will be my default browser. Let's wait and see ;)
