I didn't find on my VM such a performance difference between the 2 solutions.

Tight security setup :)
Why you ditched SD?

I removed SD because of some issues with my NVIDIA Drivers. I got 3 times the black screen, while I continues to hear audio. I removed it and everything works again.

ESET, EAM and WSA + OA: the ram usage of ESET with OA on its own will be over 100mb. I know WSA is light, but do you need so much protection?

Looks a bit of overkill. Although umbra has similar setup, Comodo doesnt use nearly as much memory as ESET, nor he uses OA.

i agree with Bioz, Your config is still valid but it uses too much RAM, a paranoid wisely made layered config, should consider the resources usage and system responsiveness as primary factor. I suggest you to use a lighter Main AV (Avira, Panda Cloud AV, or even Avast, are good choices, i will select PCAV):

for example my config (CIS+EAM+WSA) resources usage when i do surfing and chatting on Trillian:2-8% of CPU, 25-30% of RAM

removed WSA AV and Firewall

As for me, WSA is not really needed in your config, since ESET & EAM has strong detection.
