The islands are really handy things for organising tabs automatically. Also Aria's pretty good AI, as I understand it is a full chatGPT 3.5 (not the turbo model, though I could be wrong) with internet access. The performance does seem to have improved, but that may be just my own imagination.

But in the spaces the bitwarden doesn't work, and speeddial now looks like something very ugly, as it has lost the thumbnails of the pinned sites and now there are just empty squares up to 70% of the tiles ... So I won't say I have only positive impressions, but I'm staying on Opera.

By the way, a tip: Aria often replies that she doesn't know the answer to your question. Just add at the end of the question: search in the Internet if you don't know.

Splash Screen Issue Resolved​

It can be annoying to encounter a splash screen every time you restart your browser. This update stops this issue, giving you an uninterrupted browsing experience.

Bug Fixes and Performance Enhancements​

As always, we’ve taken care of pesky bugs and optimized performance to ensure that your Opera Browser runs smoothly. From addressing crashes and tab-closing issues to refining the behavior of various buttons and elements, we’re committed to delivering a top-notch browsing experience.

Amazon Music Logo and Player Improvements​

Both aesthetics and functionality are of great importance in browsers. In response to user feedback, we’ve enhanced the Amazon Music logo to be more visually appealing, and adjusted the logo’s dimensions in player mode for a better fit.

User Interface Refinements​

We’ve made several refinements to the user interface, from addressing 1-pixel edge designs in different modes to tweaking the appearance of the “O” icon and rounding the “+” button in the tab strip, keeping your Opera Browser both visually pleasing and intuitive.

Profile Migration​

Upcoming build will have profile migration disabled. Build has following logic implemented.

1. Users who have used 102.0 without issues will keep using new profile. No later migration.
2. Users who update to 102.0 for the first time will keep using old profile. Profile will be migrated later.
3. Users who updated to 102.0 but had issue and returned to 101.0 will use old profile from 101.0. Their clean/reset Default will be moved to Default.old. Profile will be migrated later.
4. Users who updated to 102.0 and had their profile reset and haven’t downgraded will use new profile location. No later migration. At later date we will reenable migration. New mechanism is already implemented and being tested. New migration implementation will not allow to dowgrade. We are also aware that migration does leave some old and unnecessary files in profile folder. This will be handled later.

Lately Opera Stable has been crashing for me consistently twice a day. Does anyone else have this problem? I even started to think about switching to Opera GX, I have a suspicion that the code associated with islands of tabs is not very stable, and in GX islands are not yet implemented. Ideally I would quit Opera altogether against the background of such annoying behaviour, but I'm like a junkie I can't watch any videos on the internet without Lucid mode
