Opera has warned YouTube content creators that scammers are using its brand name in a phishing mail campaign. This is a pretty common trick used by attackers to fool users into believing they are communicating with a well known brand, and make a profit out of it.

Paste Protection aims to protect sensitive Clipboard content by informing users about potential manipulations. Users who copy data such as banking account numbers or crypto wallet identifiers are informed by the browser if the content is manipulated. Malware may target these specifically so that transactions are hijacked if the user does not pay attention to the target addresses.
Paste Protection warns users only so that they are aware of potential manipulations. Pasting is not prevented though.

The feature, called Horizontal tab scrolling, places an arrow button at either end of the tab bar, clicking on which takes you to the left or the right of the list respectively. Opera's tab bar, unlike that of other browsers, keeps resizing the size of tabs dynamically, as you open more and more tabs. This makes it difficult to find a particular tab, which is why the new feature could be useful. But at this point, I think the Search Tabs panel is still the better way to manage tabs.

We have completed the integration of the FIO Protocol in our flagship Android browser in partnership with the Foundation for Interwallet Operability (FIO). The FIO Protocol is an open-source, decentralized usability solution that works across all blockchains, and uses human-readable Crypto Handles (e.g. hello@opera) to replace the complexity, risk, and inconvenience of transacting with long-string public wallet addresses.
The FIO Protocol grants Opera for Android users the ease of sending and receiving digital currency to and from their Opera Crypto Wallet using these FIO Crypto Handles. You can register your @opera FIO Crypto Handle for free. This integration is the latest step in Opera’s mission to make crypto more accessible to our users by providing a single point of access to highly usable and interoperable web3 products.
