It is advised to take all reviews with a grain of salt. In extreme cases some reviews use dramatization for entertainment purposes.

I was talking about tests conducted by Av-Comparatives. For me Panda is dead especially after it was acquired.
So was I, along with other professional testing labs. I just assume they all use garbage samples.

It is literally the only free cloud AV out there. The rest just claims to be, like Kaspersky, though even by their own definition, it is not.
Sad to see Panda with these results, it was the first antivirus I bought and used for so many years.

They probably used nothing but exe's. Panda does not really react to malware in other form (like jscript, vbs, msi, etc). It's really rather sad (and no more Panda face in the tray).

I await the review of Panda Complete by @Shadowra. I do hope that she uses ForgottenSeer 58943's settings. I was able to do so with Panda Essentials -- except for his Data Shield settings which can only be done when running Complete or Advanced versions.
I was able to Copy&Paste ForgottenSeer 58943's long list of port-blocks all in one swoop.
I am really REALLY hoping that Panda does well because -- if it doesn't -- I will be on the AV hunt again. Oh well, I actually enjoy the hunt so it's almost 100% a win/win for whichever way Shadowra's test turns out.
If Panda shows up poorly, maybe I should switch to Webroot, eh?
