I have 2 other partitions as excluded but sap still scans them ,any way around that ? Thks
SAme as others server still busy ,I guess still alot of work to go..

Actually it is just collecting the hashes from those excluded partitions. When a partition is excluded, SecureAPlus will not upload any sample files from the excluded partition. The hashes are needed to build up the whitelist base line database.

If you don't want SecureAPlus to perform daily full system scan, you can turn it off. To do this, you can go to App Settings -> Scan Settings, and turn off Universal AV.

For the server, the work is still in progress.
 
If you may have noticed, SecureAPlus Full System Scan is now back with fast response. SecureAPlus team would like to thanks everyone for the patience during the slow Full System Scan response. Due to overwhelming new users onboard, our server was not able to take the load. This problem is resolved now and we will continue to monitor it. Thanks everyone.

SecureAPlus version 4.4.1 is out now

What’s New:
  • Replace VirusTotal with Jotti
  • Shows progress bar while Universal AV scan result is processing
Bugs Fixed:
  • For foreign languages, some texts appeared in English in the SecureAPlus UI
  • In manual scanning, when the file is detected by more than 1 engine by the on-demand immediate scanner, it is not ticked.
  • Crash in SAScanner.exe when prompting for USB storage device insertion
Modifications:
  • Some minor touch up for the main UI
  • Allow UAV scan result to be shown in lower resolution
  • Updated Chinese, German, Japanese and Polish Translation

Universal AV Results on Full System, Real-Time & On-Demand Scanner

Results from Universal AV from the full system scan, application whitelisting prompts and the anti-virus prompts (if using the offline AV) will not be available. The same is also true with the On-Demand (right-click) scans.

License Activation

If for any reason users have yet to activate their license or wish to perform changes to their existing license (i.e. move from one PC to another), these will not be available during the maintenance period.

Rest assured that this maintenance will only help to improve the reliability of SecureAPlus and that the core protection that it provides is still at play despite the server maintenance.

SecureAPlus version 4.5.0 is out now

What’s New:
  • USB access control for USB storage
  • Shows progress bar when exporting whitelist settings
  • Turkish translation
Bugs Fixed:
  • Transfer license link does not work.
  • For SecureAPlus without ClamAV, user can still scan even if the Offline engine and Universal AV are off.
  • After user clicked on “Yes” for the following message: “For better detection, do you allow to upload any type of files to Universal AV server?”, the UI still shows only upload executable file type. The answer was recorded, but the UI was not updated.
  • Crash when browsing files using QT file dialog browser.
Modifications:
  • When user wants to perform manual scanning, but all the engines are off, prompt to remind the user that at least Universal AV or offline engine has to be enabled.
  • Change QT file dialog browser to Windows native file browser.
  • Change “Add” in the “Scan Settings” -> “Exclusions” to “Add File(s)” and “Add Folder”.
  • Update html file (include information about PUA/PUP).
  • Updated Polish translation.
  • Updated Japanese translation.
  • Updated Chinese Translation.

For the starting, you can download "Modern Flat" theme from your SecureAPlus Portal.

  • Add and select theme can be done by double clicking on the theme file (with .secureaplustheme extension).
  • Add and Remove theme from settings (App Settings > Others > Language & Personalization).
  • Policy for USB storage device is now exportable and ready to be controlled by SecureAge Managemene Server or SecureAPlus portal.
  • Improve Universal AV searching speed.
  • When language changed, auto refresh the dialog.
  • Added “Refresh” button at “Restricted Application” page.
  • Added “Refresh” button at “Quarantine” page.
  • Auto refresh in USB storage access control settings.
Bugs Fixed:

If you want to use SecureAPlus with WebrootSA, please install SecureAPlus first before WebrootSA.
If you install the other way around it will cause slowness on the machine. If you have already had WebRootSA, you may uninstall it first, install SecureAPlus, and reinstall WebRootSA.
