Symantec Endpoint Unmanaged without time limit

There is an issue having to do with the installed SEP extension in Chrome.

I get a warning to the effect your Browser Intrusion Protection isn't working correctly. Your protection definitions may be damaged or your product installation may be corrupt.

How to get rid of it?
 
is there a way to stop symantec endpoint protection from giving firewall prompts for programs?

Certainly not
I have tested both Norton and norton safe web both use avast engine and you can check yourself with Wireshark and see everything is sent to avast

Definitely
Not sure if cmoss.ru has the lastest client but if it doesn't you can message me anyway even outdated clients get signatures and will keep getting for years to come


The unmanaged client license never expires and it's possible to confirm that with Symantec diagnostics

So yes they do have the latest version just ran the tool!
 
Symantec endpoint is defiantly a beast with all it's settings set to "high" Bloodhound and sonar. I miss the old Norton and this just brings back memories.

It's better then ever and nowadays they have put all the carbon black people from VMware into Symantec division and now they include Symantec with VMware in a bundle to businesses so very likely it's better then ever and only improved


What I love about Broadcom is that they even made VMware free for personal use and have all kind of free goodies

It gives you a level to set the download trust from 1-10 which level is best?
 
The latest version is 14.3 RU9, whereas Comss only has RU4.

Crazy it's almost 2025 you would think symantec's live update would detect the version and auto update it with out having to install a new version manually. :oops:
