Personally I actually use on my system only the ips, firewall as it's pretty light and can be used with any av
Btw an alternative if you want IPS only for the browser and not systemwide is to use only the extension Serious Discussion - [Extension] Symantec browser protection(Symantec intelligence)

Certainly not
I have tested both Norton and norton safe web both use avast engine and you can check yourself with Wireshark and see everything is sent to avast

Not sure if cmoss.ru has the lastest client but if it doesn't you can message me anyway even outdated clients get signatures and will keep getting for years to come


The unmanaged client license never expires and it's possible to confirm that with Symantec diagnostics

Symantec endpoint is defiantly a beast with all it's settings set to "high" Bloodhound and sonar. I miss the old Norton and this just brings back memories.

It's better then ever and nowadays they have put all the carbon black people from VMware into Symantec division and now they include Symantec with VMware in a bundle to businesses so very likely it's better then ever and only improved


What I love about Broadcom is that they even made VMware free for personal use and have all kind of free goodies
