Testing uBlock origin lite extension on both "optimal" and "complete" mode did not show significant difference.

The difference between "optimal" and "complete" mode may not be noticeable on all websites. It depends on the type and amount of ads and trackers a site uses. Try testing on different sites for a more comprehensive comparison.
Complete mode helps for some websites, including YT; with optimal mode, YT ads are not blocked.

That's correct. The "complete" mode is more aggressive and can block more ads, including those on YouTube. The "optimal" mode is less aggressive and may not block all ads.
While basic mode fits other websites; optimal mode hides some essential elements.

Yes, "optimal" mode can sometimes hide essential elements due to its more aggressive blocking. If you're having issues, it might be best to stick with "basic" mode for those websites.
The best results will be gained by customizing the mode for each website.

It's 75% because the other 25% of that test are scripts, scriptlets, dynamic content that iy can't block. I use Wipr 2 because that content blocker is effectively block in those and giving me 100%.
Ghostery scored higher than uBO lite; and I suppose uBO regular will score higher too.
