Advice Request Transparency effects. Do you use it or not and why?

In Windows 11, do you have this on, or you like using Windows 11 without it?

No. I try to minimize effects as much as possible for better performance.

I use it as can make desk look a little better however I do change things as regards desktop quite often - Don't seem to make much difference to performance?

It depends, if you have a high end or low end machine. The difference is I think then noticeable.

Yes, but I use a different app for transparency for the Taskbar, the reasons being I dont like how transparency works in win10/11 I much preffered Vista/7 era transparency.

I think you are good to go. I myself would enable it if that was my pc.
Try, see how it works.

Transparency is just a small piece of the "running smoother" puzzle.

Restart your pc from time to time, disable unnecessary startup apps, Uninstall unnecessary programs, etc. You get the idea.

I dont know, I still use Win10, and in Win10 I have it disabled.

Personally, I don't care about "eye candy" features. I need my PC to be simple, stable and practical, that's it.

I think it's best to try and see it for yourself for few days. As I mentioned earlier, that is just a small piece of the whole performance puzzle.

Update: I also turned OFF animations. Its faster and less distracting for me, now.
