Is the giveaway already closed as I installed it yesterday, I cannot find any trial while under installation?
I then uninstall the software completely.
Have had no problems installing. On one of the prompts it’ll ask for a license number or you can choose free trial. If the trial option is selected, it will ask for a email address. Fill it out and untick the “keep me informed on trend micro….” Box below your email. Did 5 of my pc’s this past week. Might just have a region block, but I highly doubt it. Will try it on another laptop later today to make sure ✌️

Can confirm it's working. 👍

1) created restore point with Trend IS installed
2) used HiBit uninstaller to uninstall Trend IS
3) restarted PC after the built-in uninstaller finished
4) removed leftovers with HiBit uninstaller
5) rebooted for good measure
6) created a "clean" restore point
7) Ran Trend Max Security installer
8) filled out the necessary boxes, unticked the unnecessary ones
9) updated and wait for it to finish with updated version
10) restarted after updates.

Working like a champ

@Shadowra I just watched your test video of Trend Micro Maximum Security 2025. I used it at the time during the pandemic and it wasn't bad, now looking at your video they have improved their detection mechanism even more. I know Trend Micro at the time that was called PC-Cillin that came on a CD when you bought a new computer and had a drawing of a syringe on the CD cover. I'm getting really old LOL I don't know if you're from that era or if there's anyone here who remembers it? BTW, I loved the soundtrack of the video, you have good taste. ;)
I had forgotten, but once you mentioned it, I do remember PC-Cillin. I also remember getting CD's with about 8-10 free apps on them. I can't remember where from or how I got them. (glued in PC Magazines?)

The story of PC-Cillin revolves around the year 1998/1999 when a friend bought a computer for his daughter that came with an amd K6-2 350mhz processor. I'm attaching two images of the processor that was used in the PC at the time and a photo of the PC-Cillin installation CD. So, this friend called me at home and asked me to come to his house to install the antivirus on his daughter's computer, because she didn't know how to install it. At the time, it was very easy to install an antivirus on a computer from a CD, because Autorun was widely used at the time to make it easier for people to install programs. All you had to do was put the CD in the CD drive and close the tray and Autorun would automatically open the installation setup and then you just clicked next, next and then finish. When I got to this friend's house, he gave me a CD case with a red cover that said PC-Cillin 2000. I don't know if there were any more free programs on it, because I didn't get to explore the files to see if there was anything else on the CD. As soon as I'd finished installing PC-Cillin, I left his daughter's room. Her father and I went into the living room to talk and then his daughter came home from work. I got to install it two or three times. At the time, people were a bit afraid of messing with things, for fear of problems. Because it was difficult to get hold of a Windows 95/98/2000 installation CD. :)

I think so, it seems that at the time they were pasted into PC magazines - I even saw them a few times. That was the story of how I came to know AV PC-Cillin, now better known as Trend Micro. ;)
