When I got to this friend's house, he gave me a CD case with a red cover that said PC-Cillin 2000. I don't know if there were any more free programs on it, because I didn't get to explore the files to see if there was anything else on the CD. As soon as I'd finished installing PC-Cillin, I left his daughter's room. Her father and I went into the living room to talk and then his daughter came home from work. I got to install it two or three times. At the time, people were a bit afraid of messing with things, for fear of problems. Because it was difficult to get hold of a Windows 95/98/2000 installation CD.
I think so, it seems that at the time they were pasted into PC magazines - I even saw them a few times. That was the story of how I came to know AV PC-Cillin, now better known as Trend Micro.
