just installed the ultimate version, and...a full scan detected 222 pieces of malware, on a clean installed windows version.
The vpn, need to be turned on, manually on every start.
Secure pay dont work, click on the option, and the program freezes.
No update button, and auto updates are turned off by default.

NVIDIA, Photo Viewer, doesn't make sense, and maybe even Office? IObit, maybe because of PUP's? Those who know more about these things may have a better idea about it than I do.

u are probably right, but 362 pieces of malware? and i stop the scan, before it finish

im not sure if they use any AI, at least there is no option's about it..only a advanced threat defense, but it seems to be someting more about the behaviour of the real time defense module ,because even if i disable it, i got the same result module

They licensed all of Bitdefender's technologies, only to screw up the detections? That's new.

In all honesty, this company feels a lot like those PUP developers that just use the Avira engine.

i just bought a license for ultimate version, on amazon.in for 1.20€

Their threat names are Bitdefender detections, such as Trojan.Generick, and their user Interface seem to be just the Bitdefender U with different buttons, font and colours, so I assume all other Bitdefender technologies are present aswell.

Thats definitely what I suspect, these people may not even be security experts, but rather some business people looking to capitalize of the cybersecurity industry, like all those PUP's that utilize the Avira engine.

Can't imagine why you would ever consider this. Hope you can reimage back to an unpolluted install.
