I want to discuss with every users, what antivirus is good now.The forum administrators of antivirus software in China are arbitrarily deleting posts, and the environment is very unpleasant, so I plan to come here and discuss it with everyone.

Now i only think McAfee ESET Norton(Avast core) and Kaspersky is the top of antiviruses

i wont to consider avg and bitdefender because they cant use in china(no any servers)

now im using kaspersky but i heard kaspersky is regressed now

maybe i will first consider eset and McAfee, eset has agent in china, and McAfee is very cheap on an unofficial shopping site

McAfee,14RMB(1.95USD)????It's hard not to be tempted by this price.

and eset is more expensive, like this photo
1 year 3 devices need 25.07USD

Between Eset vs McAfee, I will say for the price of McAfee and the features, it's the winner in your case.

Eset is good but the price it has for additional features is too much against the AV competion. You need to pay a premium.
Consider ESET if you got low specs as it's one of the lightest.

Any one will not help with lack of basic computer and malware knowledge.
There is an old thread on MT about how I get my first PC infection; you can spot the name of all major AVs.
lack of knowledge + bad luck = infection
Some says users are the weakest link; but they can be the strongest too if equipped with the right knowledge.

If I were the OP I would browse the site & especially look at posts & tests by Trident, Shadowa, & Andy Ful especially among others & what well known & respected members think - The situation in UK where I can use anything I wish is very different to China, so my opinions are not valid (some feel none of mine are are anyway :p)

Valid point.

Also consider which AV with integrated VPN can work with the Great Firewall of China.

I remember Chinese selling Kaspersky insanely cheaply too might actually be a good choice as it's cheaper then eset

So Kaspersky and osprey extension is probably all you need

If you follow any good Kaspersky configuration guide here on MT, the russian AV will be the strongest & most solid solution you will find. The Application Control module is a game changer if you set it up correctly.
you can get it insanely cheap in Chinese sites and I assume it will have better servers to his region then many other products
And yes it's top 5+ (majority one over the years ) meanwhile having very low performance impact and very low false positives and if he prefers something even lighter then ESET is my next recommendations but it's expansive (I use ESET due to its even lower impact )

AVG Ultimate + Symantec endpoint ( firewall + ips only )
All blacklist approach and no whitelist solutions? ( ok - so firewall is black and white list) Why? How do you know the solutions worked - did the logs ever show intrusions / breach attempt failed?

Not saying whitelist is better; I have seen breach attempts on my network IPS, so I can say the IPS saved me. And I have also seen breach attempts at violating WDAC, so that had worked too.
