80 F today in this town in Southern Maine, USA. It's 72 F right now. Tomorrow, it returns to normal, in the low to middle 50s. Not complaining about the abnormally high temperatures at all - as long as they don't go any higher.

Two that are currently burning in this region. By currently, I mean: NOW. But at least California's out of the hole, albeit with mudslides and god knows what else.
The high where I live is 92F today. It's a dry heat, but you never do get used to it. Summertime highs can be around 120F in july/August.
As much as I love the warmer weather, even that is way too hot for me.

The trees are budding about a month early here, third spring in a row.
Regarding temperature, I think that the members who are most severe are probably bot.

. Well at least where I live it's not that bad for at least a week.
16°C and okay, I wouldn't complain (even if it's a bit chilly for late April), but the wind... How much longer will it torture me, seriously, it's been like ten windy days in a row.

Typical Dutch weather: cold, wind and rain
Wildfires burning in Western and Eastern Canada. Really smoky today where I live. Rain is in the forecast, and we badly need it. Lots of it! This is the driest Spring I've seen so far in over 20 years living here. Check out the Air quality.

There was a wildfire a few days ago in the dunes nearby, but only 200x200m and extinguished quite rapidly.
Nothing like the disaster in Canada, which is of a scale unimaginable for me.
